EV1 killed by G.W. Bush, GM and Chevron
Forty years after the theft in 1968, eight years after the theft of 2000
The boom in the stock market, the rise in solar stocks, foretold the victory of the Dems in the election; the demise of the failed Bush-O-Nomic donation of money to the very rich, the failed wars of Imperial conquest, all indicate that the USA's position in the world will be restored by the good intentions of the real Americans.

McCain stands for nuke power, hates solar power and plug-in cars, and wants to dump toxic drilling spoils in the Ocean.

The market knows that the future is with America's returning to its promise, not continuing with the dead-end Bush Crime Family.

There won't be Electric cars until and unless Standard Oil is broken up again, and that won't happen until the oil-soaked regime of the Bush Crime Family loses power.

Already, Iran is sending messages that it will deal with us, despite the American imperialist expeditionary forces in Iraq, Kuwait and Afganistan. Europe is looking to a revived American prestige, a return of America to the promise that it once held.

Sure, we're bankrupted by the evil Bush Bandit Crime Family; but money is an abstaction, we can always rebuild our economy, with the rich assets and hardy people who actually work for a living.

Most importantly, with the election of Obama, the "dream" of Martin Luther King, a flawed man with the heart to aspire to greatness, might have a chance to be realized; it's not a gift to the Black folks, it's a gift to ourselves, to rise above prejudice and believe, increasingly, in the original ideas that animated the misfits, losers, refugees, visionaries and iconoclasts who founded this country, creating a dream that choked the hearts of the oppressed peoples everywhere. Even if we didn't always consistently behave so.

And the awful murders of Martin, Malcolm X, RFK, and others, have been revealed as necessary martyrdoms on the path to the future -- at least, so we can hope.

The stock market tells the real story: the rally today tells us that the market, at least, believes the long nightmare of Bush, the stolen elections, the failed nutcase "talkers in tongues", the evil forces of the oligarchic Tories, might be over at last.

Importantly, the "American Imperialist Empire" might be revealed as the sordid wet dream of the neo-con screwballs of the Project for a New American Century.

A darkness descended on us in 2000, as it did in 1968; perhaps the evil is remediated, perhaps the future is here, at last, perhaps the REAL "Y2K bug", GW Bush and his fascist Crime Family, will be shook out and discarded like dead fleas, and we will at last enter the 21st Century.

At least, until the next time that we forget what we are all about.
