| Dear Auto Manufacturer As a consumer, I pledge, here and now, not to purchase any new type of vehicle until you bring fully functioning and affordable electric vehicles to market. Instead, and until then, I will only purchase used vehicles. The technology for all-electric vehicles is already there and it is the only way that America, and the world, can free itself of its dependency on oil. I am fully convinced that there is no reason to not begin manufacturing these vehicles immediately. Additionally, I am encouraging all of my friends to also hold off on buying new vehicles for the time being. There’s an old saying: "To the Victor go the spoils" and when the first auto manufacturer brings an affordable electric vehicle to the market I will buy it!
